"Letting Go" by David R. Hawkins
Review by Borodutch
This is probably the most pseudo-scientific book I've read in years. The funniest part was when the author claimed this method does not work with atheists. Unless you believe in the magic dust, it won't work.
"Letting Go" takes a sound concept to the extreme. It has it all: auras, vibrations, "quantum physics," chakras, etc. Overall, many unscientific things are presented with a straight face as scientific facts.
Oh, and there is a doctor who healed himself of, I don't know, cancer by stopping to think about it. In fact, if you don't think about flu, you won't catch it. And if you have caught it, that's because you've thought about it!
"Letting Go" can remarkably illustrate cognitive biases and logical errors. Almost every claim the author makes does not survive even a slight scientific inquiry.
