"Nemesis Games" by James S.A. Corey
Review by Borodutch
The Marco Inaros arc was my least favorite on the TV show. Unfortunately, it is a close adaptation of the book's story, so I had to hate this arc again, but on paper. Besides this terrible part, the rest of the book is alright.
The main event with the gravity well is fascinating, but I feel the authors could have done so much more with it. However, I have to say this: I'm so looking forward to the end of the never-ending bullshit that the human race is in the books and finally moving on to aliens. The whole reason I started to read the novels was to go past the abrupt end of the TV show to see what's up next and get the answers.
I'm glad the "Nemesis Games" is over; I'm not looking forward to "re-watching" season 6 of the paper show. However, I can't wait to see what's next! Don't you love that the whole review here basically says, "This sucked," yet I appear excited?
