"The Song of Significance" by Seth Godin
Review by Borodutch
This book could have been an article. In fact, it could be just one phrase: respect your employees by nurturing a work environment that doesn't suck. How to do this? Yeah, treat your employees as humans.
"The Song of Significance" is too long, and its ways are windy. Sometimes the author uses the beehive analogy to show how bees work autonomously. Can the advice from the book be applied in real life? Hardly. Because the advice here is so vague that Seth could have just said: "Do good things, don't do bad things."
Sorry for this underwhelming review, but I hope I've saved you hours of reading this, for some unknown reason, popular title.
