"The War of Art" by Steven Pressfield

Review by Borodutch

"The War of Art" is a very repetitive book that dismisses common sense, advertises life-work imbalance, and builds its concepts on survivorship bias. Fortunately, it is short enough to consume and return wherever you've bought it. I will save you the trouble, though. All inspirational bullshit aside, the book consists of straightforward advice: shut up, show up, and do the work.

Whether you're an artist, a scientist, a dentist, or whoever — shut up, show up, and do the work, everything else will come if you do this, partially because, quite literally, no one shows up.

Good luck, and have fun!
